Dr Aoife O’Donoghue

GP

Dr Aoife O Donoghue graduated from Medicine in University College Cork in 2014. She worked in various specialities of hospital medicine including Cardiology, Rheumatology, Oncology, Medicine for the Elderly, Respiratory, Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, earning her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland in 2017. She also completed a year of working in Microbiology.

She proceeded to undertake General Practice training in Cork, including hospital posts in Paediatrics and Psychiatry, as well as posts in both rural and urban Gp surgeries. She completed GP training in 2023.

Aoife is passionate about all aspects of General Practice but especially enjoys Antenatal care, Paediatrics, Medicine for the Elderly and Women’s Health.

She is a registered smeartaker with CervicalCheck.

She is married with two children and lives in Clonakilty.
